PRODUCTION DESIGNER

THE 15:17 TO PARIS

Interior Spread

PRODUCTION DESIGNER: Historical accuracy was my intention. I felt a responsibility to the material and its participants. The first step was to gather all the pertinent research. I then scheduled a meeting with the boys and appropriate family members. I took the meeting with my set decorator Ron Reiss. My focus in questioning was to understand socioeconomic means, religious beliefs, hobbies, any specifics in the environments that we could recreate. We also listed certain items we could use around the house such as family photos and art pieces. How do I describe the locations? Well, chose your favorite choice destinations and lump them into one trip then you get this film. Working with Mr. Eastwood also opens doors many cannot pass. We shot actual French Embassy and in the actual Thalys’ train.
